European Championships

Peoples Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Grade 1 band were delighted to take 2nd place as a band and drum corps at the European Championships in Inverness yesterday. All sections of the band handled the conditions expertly and the runners-up spot surpasses our result at Paisley earlier this season as the highest finish in PM Ross Harvey’s tenure.

We will now take a well deserved short break from practices, before returning to prepare for the Scottish Championships in July. Grade 1 members will be hoping for better piping weather as they have the honour of performing at the Festival de Ortigueria next week.
